Abstract
In interior design, is very important for the application ofcoatings or coverings ABSTRACT
on the walls, these coatings are madeof synthetic materials or processed
wood which createsmany waste which are difficult to recycle and affect
theenvironment environment. In this thesis project is want topresent new
proposals of sustainable materials, incorporating vegetable fibers in the
interior design creatinga role tapestry based on recycled paper, vegetable
fibres ofcane corn and bark of eucalyptus that is considered asustainable
material since that are renewable resources. Forthis reason there has been
an analysis and experimentationwith vegetable fibers which are from rural
and agriculturalareas of the city of Cuenca and as supplementary material inis
role bond and newsprint that will later serve as rawmaterial for the production
of wallpaper. Also will create aline of paper wallpaper with reference to the
iconography ofthe Canari culture then applied in social areas of a home.
Resumen
En el diseño de interiores, es muy importante la aplicación de revestimientos o recubrimientos en las paredes, dichos revestimientos están hechos de materiales sintéticos o maderas procesadas que genera muchos residuos
que son difíciles de reciclar y afectan al medio ambiente. En este proyecto de tesis se quiere dar a conocer nuevas propuestas de materiales sustentables, incorporando fibras vegetales en el diseño interior creando así un papel
tapiz a base de papel reciclado, fibras vegetales de caña de maíz y corteza de eucalipto que se consideran un material sostenible puesto que son recursosrenovables. Por esta razón se ha realizado un análisis y experimentación con fibras vegetales que son procedentes de zonas rurales y agrícolas de la ciudad de Cuenca y como material complementario en está el papel bond y papel de periódico que posteriormente servirán como materia prima para la elaboración de papel tapiz. Además se creará una línea de papel tapiz tomando como referencia la iconografía de la Cultura Cañari para luego aplicar en áreas sociales de una vivienda.
