| dc.description | La prostitución es un a actividad que ha estado presente en el devenir de las ciudades desde siempre, y sin embargo sigue siendo un tema que nadie desea tocar, mucho menos discutir. En la presente investigación se aborda esta actividad desde una perspectiva local, que pese a ello arrojó imaginarios globales. La representación de las “bestias urbanas“ tal como se planteó inicialmente, tuvo que adaptarse a un lenguaje también global, para representar finalmente la “cosificación“ de la mujer en medio de una sociedad cada vez más volcada al consumo sin sentido, en la que finalmente el individuo desaparece para convertirse en mercancía, pasando a habitar un espacio impersonal en el que la relación con su similar se da a través de medios electrónicos, reduciendo de esta manera el contacto visual y físico, a una programada interacción con grabaciones y máquinas disfrazadas de humanidad | es_ES |
