Abstract
This project aims to develop a signage system to improve the orientation and movement of visitors to the Sanctuary of the Virgen del Rocío located in the Biblián canton, this temple is an important cultural epicenter and point of tourist interest, because it is built in The tip of the Zhalo hill and its particular style of construction inspired by neo-Gothic architecture have made it a destination that attracts national and foreign tourists.
That is why the sanctuary was declared Cultural Heritage of the State by the National Institute of Cultural Heritage of Ecuador on July 30, 2007.
The design of the system seeks to optimize accessibility to the sanctuary and its various areas, improving the experience of visitors and respecting the architectural and natural context of the place. The project includes pictograms and supports that adapt to the characteristics of the space to achieve a harmonious integration. . with the temple environment.
Resumen
El presente proyecto pretende elaborar un sistema señalético para mejorar la orientación y desplazamiento de los visitantes del Santuario de la Virgen del Rocío ubicado en el cantón Biblián, este templo es un importante epicentro cultural y punto de interés turístico, debido a que se encuentra construido en la punta del cerro Zhalao y su particular estilo de construcción inspirado en la arquitectura gótica, han hecho que sea un destino que atrae turistas nacionales y extranjeros durante todas las épocas del año.
Es por ello que el santuario fue declarado Patrimonio Cultural del Estado por el Instituto Nacional de Patrimonio Cultural del Ecuador el 30 de julio de 2007.
El diseño del sistema busca optimizar la accesibilidad al santuario y sus diversas áreas, mejorando la experiencia de los visitantes y respetando el contexto arquitectónico y natural del lugar, el proyecto incluirá pictogramas y soportes que se adapten a las características del espacio para lograr una integración armoniosa con el ambiente del templo.
