dc.descriptionAntecedentes: Los grupos sanguíneos ABO y Factor Rhesus (Rh) difieren ampliamente en la población, especialmente porque son heredados mediante la codificación genética. Objetivo: Determinar la frecuencia de los grupos sanguíneos ABO y Factor Rhesus en personas de las parroquias rurales del cantón Gualaceo, 2017. Metodología: Se realizó un estudio descriptivo y transversal, en 219 pacientes que viven en las parroquias rurales del cantón Gualaceo. Los datos se procesaron en el programa SPPS V 15, los datos se presentan en las tablas correspondientes. Resultados: El grupo sanguíneo predominante en la población estudiada es el ORh+ que se presenta con el 0,6%(62), en las personas que residen en la parroquia Remigio Crespo el grupo ARh+ tiene mayor índice de presentación con el 0,2% (14), mientras que en las Parroquia Mariano Moreno el grupo ORH + es predominante con el 0,3% (1). En las parroquias restantes el tipo ORH+ mantiene la tendencia de mayor presentación. Conclusiones: Los resultados de este estudio permiten conocer que el tipo de sangre O y el factor Rh positivo son predominantes en los habitantes de las parroquias rurales del cantón Gualaceo.es_ES
dc.description.abstractBackground: The ABO and Rhesus factor blood groups differ widely in the population, especially because they are inherited through genetic coding. Objective: To determine the frequency of the ABO and Rhesus Factor blood groups in people of the rural parishes of the canton of Gualaceo, 2017. Methodology: A descriptive and transversal study was carried out in 219 patients living in the rural parishes of the Gualaceo canton. The data was processed in the SPPS V 15 program (See Annex 6), the data are presented in the corresponding tables. Results: The predominant blood group in the population studied is the ORh+ which is presented with 0.6% (62), in the people residing in the Remigio Crespo parish the ARh + group has a higher index of presentation with 0.2 % (14), while in Parroquia Mariano Moreno the ORH + group is predominant with 0.3 % (1). In the remaining parishes, the ORH- type maintains the trend of greater presentation. Conclusions: The results of this study allow us to know that the O blood type and the Rh positive factor are predominant in the inhabitants of the rural parishes of the Gualaceo canton.es_ES
