El primer capítulo describe el estilo, la trayectoria y el lenguaje musical de Monk. El segundo capítulo profundiza en el Blues, el Swing, el Rhythm Changes y recursos característicos de los temas: Blue Sphere, Bolivar Blues, Let´s cool one, Eronel, Humph y Rhythm a Ning desde una perspectiva del análisis musical.es_ES
dc.description.abstractThe current research propose to apply the representative resources of the musical aesthetics of Thelonious Monk through adaptations of his compositions for the format of a jazz quintet. The first chapter describe the style, the trajectory and the musical language of Monk.
