La justicia indígena en la comuna Zhiña del cantón Nabón (2008 – 2022)

Abstract

This research focuses on the study of indigenous justice in the Zhiña commune belonging to the Nabón canton, one of the few existing indigenous territories within the canton and province of Azuay, and which still keeps ancestral customs and practices alive. To achieve the development of this work, social actors and former leaders of the Zhiña Commune participated, as well as social actors belonging to the Nabón canton outside the Commune, that through interviews and visits contributed with relevant information that was supplemented with the use of bibliographic sources related to the topic, searching to make evident the way that ancestral justice develops inside of this territory.
