Abstract
Urban equipment (educational units),
on which academic learning is based, is
the physical environment that configures
the relationship between city, space and
inhabitant.
In the country, the lack of coverage
and lack of school infrastructure is the
main problem in educational institutions,
in the city of Cuenca, the Cazadores de
los Ríos Educational Unit presents a series
of problems due to the lack of infrastructu-
re due to the increase in students in recent
years, and the deficit of classrooms, public
areas, and underutilized spaces. For this reason, the repowering of the
educational unit is proposed, which gua-
rantees the improvement of the current
state through a design according to the
needs.
Therefore, this document, which is born
from a process of analysis and previous
research, seeks to reach the conception
of criteria to be taken into account, in the
development of the repowering of the
new educational unit.
Resumen
Los equipamientos urbanos (unidades
educativas), sobre los cuales se funda-
menta el aprendizaje académico, es el
medio físico que configura la relación en-
tre ciudad, espacio y habitante.
En el país, el déficit de cobertura y fal-
ta de infraestructura escolar es el principal
problema en las instituciones educativas,
en la ciudad de Cuenca la Unidad Edu-
cativa Cazadores de los Ríos, presenta
una serie de problemas por la falta de in-
fraestructura ante el incremento de estu-
diantes en los últimos años, y el déficit de
aulas de clase, zonas públicas, y espacios Por esta razón, se propone la repoten-
ciación de la unidad educativa, el cual
garantiza el mejoramiento del estado ac-
tual mediante un diseño acorde a las ne-
cesidades.
Por lo que, el presente documento que
nace de un proceso de análisis y de in-
vestigación previa, busca llegar a la con-
cepción de criterios a tomar en cuenta,
en el desarrollo de la repotenciación de
la nueva unidad educativa.
