Nivel de satisfacción de la atención integral que brindan las enfermeras/os a las gestantes, en la Clínica Humanitaria Fundación Pablo Jaramillo C., en el periodo noviembre – diciembre 2015

Abstract

BACKGROUND: the nursing staff is responsible for providing quality care and warmth to the wearer, it reflects a level of positive or negative satisfaction influenced in their recovery. OBJECTIVE: assess the level of satisfaction of care offered by nurses the hospitalized pregnant women enrolled in their third trimester of pregnancy, in November – December 2015, “Pablo Jaramillo Crespo Foundation”, Humanitarian Clinic period. METHODOLOGY: a quantitative, descriptive study with finite universe and sample, consisting of 34 pregnant women hospitalized in Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic Humanitarian service in their third trimester of pregnancy was performed. The Caring Assessment Instrument (Care- Q) modified instrument, consisting of seven categories and 25 questions was used. Excel and Word software was used in tabulating and analyzing data. RESULTS: of the 34 surveyed pregnant, 68% reported a high level of satisfaction, 16% show an average satisfaction level and 16% a low level of satisfaction with reference to nursing care. Socio demographic data presented hospitalized pregnant women indicate that the age group most influx to the Humanitarian Clinic are among the 19 to 24 years old with 38.2 % , marital status prevailing among users is married to the 50 % , with a level of secondary education and 53% live in the urban sector with 59 %. CONCLUSIONS: this study shows that the level of satisfaction with the care provided by nurses is high, for a considerable amount of hospitalized pregnant women, however there is a medium level of satisfaction and low, which should be considered measures to provide excellent care quality and warmth to users
