La música inédita del Maestro Emilio Jaramillo Escudero 1920-1980 y su aporte al Patrimonio Cultural Musical de la Provincia de Loja, la región Sur y el País

Abstract

This research work was born of the need to inform the Loja citizenship about the unpublished musical work of one outstanding teacher who left a valuable artistic legacy to future generations. . The main objective of this thesis was to investigate the unpublished musical work of Maestro Emilio Jaramillo Escudero, cataloging his musical works and making public his contribution to the Musical Heritage of Loja, the Southern Region and the Country. The methodology used was the qualitative; it was based on data gathered without numerical measurement to discover and refine research questions in the process of the interpretation. It was accompanied with the scientific, analytic-synthetic, and historical methods that facilitated the analysis of the information collected within the characteristics of a musical work. Thanks to the collaboration of families Palacios- Jaramillo and Correa -Escudero, it could be found the complete and unpublished musical work of the maestro Jaramillo-Escudero. This work was digitized, cataloged and analyzed morphologically. All this became a musical contribution to future generations in the artistic and cultural development of the province of Loja, the Southern Region and the Country.
