dc.descriptionEl presente estudio contempla un análisis de la información meteorológica, hidrológica e hidráulica para establecer parámetros y criterios que han permitido la validación de los procedimientos de cálculo y diseño para el puente sobre el Río Jadán (Parroquia Jadán, Cantón Gualaceo, Provincia del Azuay). El análisis incorpora la caracterización morfológica e hidrológica del área de drenaje para el proyecto y el estudio de los procesos hidráulicos relacionados a flujo y socavación. Se ha determinado una precipitación máxima en 24 horas de 72.3mm, con intensidad de 3.01 mm/h. Se ha obtenido un caudal de diseño de 215m3/s para un período de retorno de 100 años mediante la ponderación entre el método de la SCS y la modelación en HEC-HMS Para el estudio de flujo se ha utilizado la herramienta HEC RAS para determinar los calados máximos, velocidad y tipo de flujo. Las condiciones de borde: coeficiente de rugosidad del cauce y los márgenes; se han determinado a partir de información recopilada en la zona; los datos de caudales obtenidos en la construcción del hidrograma total mediante el método SCS. Se ha obtenido alturas de flujo de 3.2 m sobre el fondo del cauce con una velocidad de 4.72 m/s. Para el análisis de socavación se ha utilizado el método de Lischtvan – Levedliev con lo que se ha obtenido una profundidad esperada de 1.6 m. Mediante el estudio se ha concluido que las condiciones de diseño para el puente ya construido, son coherentes con los resultados obtenidos en este estudio. dc.description.abstractThis study provides an analysis of the meteorological, hydrological and hydraulic information to establish parameters and criteria that allowed the validation of the procedures of calculation and design for the bridge over the Jadán River located in Jadán, in the province of Azuay. The analysis incorporates a characterization of the morphological and hydrological drainage area of the project and a study of the hydraulic processes related to flow and scour. It has been determined a maximum precipitation in 24 hours of 72.3mm, with an intensity of 3.01 mm/h. In this concern it has been obtained as design flow the value of 215m3/s which corresponds to a return period of 100 years by the method of the SCS. For the study of flow it has been used the software HEC RAS through which have been given the maximum drafts, speed, and type of flow, applying as conditions of edge: the coefficient of roughness of the riverbed and the margins and the data of flow, obtained in the construction of the total hydrograph using the SCS method. It has been obtained heights of flow of 3.2m above the riverbed with a speed of 4.72 m/s. Finally for the characterization of scour it has used the method of Lischtvan - Levedliev which had been achieved an expected depth of 1.6 m. Through the study has concluded that the conditions of design established for the bridge that is already built, are consistent with the results obtained in this studyes_ES
