Abstract

In the present study in the community of Santa Teresita-Chiquintad, it is revealed one of the most important health problems, rural populations suffer, as is the use and improper maintenance of its latrine. So it is important to detail found in the same determinants, which include: deficient knowledge of concepts, indifferent to their reality and other improper practices that mostly favor the presence of communicable diseases attitudes that make them prey community, weakening and sometimes ending with the life of its inhabitants, making these areas of danger and concern. Therefore we intervene together with the affected community conducting an educational project in which we try to include usual way to change this way of life, investigating the population concepts, delimitation of the area, political, etc. thus achieving a rapprochement with it, we seek solutions and the pair plan and implement an educational plan, the same that once built evaluate achievements and make decisions designed always to the good of the community.
