Abstract
The present graduation project consists in the development of the preliminary project of the Centro de Expendio
Miraflores for the city of Cuenca. This project was requested by the Municipality of Cuenca through an agreement with the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism of the University of Cuenca. The main reason for the agreement was to provide a supply center for the sector and eliminate the existing itinerant commerce platforms on the site.
The first phase of the project consisted in a study and analysis of the types of markets, the spaces necessary for a supply center, the relationship between the areas, the main markets in Cuenca and the regulations in order. Once the mentioned study was completed, case studies on similar topics were analyzed. The projects were chosen through parameters selected with criteria similar to those set for the project. Finally, the analyzed considerations were applied to
provide the city with a Supply Center
Resumen
El presente trabajo de titulación consta en el desarrollo del anteproyecto del Centro de Expendio Miraflores para la ciudad de Cuenca. Este proyecto fue solicitado por parte del Gad Municipal de Cuenca a través de un convenio con la Facultad de Arquitectura y Urbanismo de la universidad de Cuenca. El principal motivo del convenio fue de dotar de un centro de abastecimiento al sector y eliminar las plataformas de comercio itinerante existentes en el sitio.
La primera fase del trabajo constó de un estudio y análisis sobre los tipos de mercados, los espacios necesarios para un
centro de abastecimiento, la relación entre las zonas, los principales mercados de Cuenca y la normativa vigente
para los mismos. Una vez concluido el estudio mencionado se realizó estudios de caso sobre temas semejantes.
Se escogieron proyectos por medio de parámetros de selección que se asemejan a los criterios planteados para el proyecto y se relacione con el entorno. Para finalmente aplicar las consideraciones analizadas y dotar a la ciudad de un Centro de abastecimiento
