Abstract
This article describes the benefits of the Social Web for the construction and diffusion of the products
of the research activity. The e-tools, or tools of research 2.0, make it easier the search for documentation,
the interrelationship between researchers, networking and sharing information and results.
Therefore, the e-tools can be of two types: production and diffusion. The article suggests the desirability
of implementing a research 2.0 technologies infrastructure at the University of Cuenca.
Resumen
En el presente artículo se describen los beneficios de la Web Social para la construcción y divulgación
de los productos de la actividad investigadora. Las e-herramientas, o herramientas de investigación
2.0, facilitan la búsqueda de documentación, la interrelación entre investigadores, el networking y la
compartición de información y resultados. Por tanto, las e-herramientas pueden ser de dos tipos: de
producción y de difusión. El artículo sugiere la conveniencia de implementar en la Universidad de
Cuenca una infraestructura de tecnologías de investigación 2.0.
