Abstract
In the city of Cuenca a large number of university students who migrate from other cantons and cities live to study. Due to their need to overcome, students rent small apartments or rooms during the period of their academic life. Most of these spaces are not very comfortable or meet the needs of its inhabitants, either because of their small size or because students seek to economize the moment of setting their spaces. That is why, by designing multifunctional modular furniture with recycled materials, they can optimize the living space to the maximum; Being economical and accessible. This project can provide solutions for the needs of the students residing in our city, offering greater comfort and a better quality of life for its occupants taking into account the relation space - object through the application of ergonomics and anthropometry.
Resumen
En la ciudad de Cuenca residen una gran cantidad de estudiantes universitarios que migran de otros cantones y ciudades para poder realizar sus estudios. Dada su necesidad de superación los estudiantes rentan pequeños apartamentos o habitaciones durante el período de su vida académica. La mayoría de estos espacios no son muy confortables ni cumplen con las necesidades de sus habitantes, ya sea por sus dimensiones reducidas o por que los estudiantes buscan economizar el momento de ambientar sus espacios.
Es por eso que, mediante el diseño de mobiliario modular multifuncional fabricado con material reciclado, puedan optimizar al máximo los espacios habitacionales; siendo económicos y accesibles.
Este proyecto puede aportar soluciones para las necesidades de los estudiantes residentes en nuestra ciudad, ofreciendo un mayor confort y una mejor calidad de vida para sus ocupantes teniendo en cuanta la relación espacio – objeto mediante la aplicación de la ergonomía y antropometría.
