El enfoque sistémico como estrategia básica para el trabajo social con familias

Abstract

This monograph deals with the application of the Systemic Approach, as a basic strategy for Social Work with Families, and it will have as theoretical reference the contributions of systemic authors like: AnnamariaCampanini and Francesco Luppi, ÁngelaMaríaQuinteros, and Viscarret who consider that individuals are relational and social beings by nature, sharing thoughts, opinions, and emotions; behaviors acquired mainly through the family context.

Therefore, for this research has been compiled bibliographic material such as books, thesis, monographs, scientific magazines, and websites. Of these scientific information sources have been selected which are related to the importance of the systemic approach for Social Work with Families and thus provide a better understanding for readers.

This work also includes a field research, for which we did a structured interview with 8 open ended questions. The interview gave us accurate and reliable information because of Social Workers answered by themselves according to their knowledge and experiences regarding to the use of this approach in their occupational area.

Additionally, in this work is stated the General Systems Theory; having as main strategy the Systemic Approach, because it is a theoretical and methodological perspective that a Social Worker has to know for his/her intervention with the families.
