La elaboración lítica de los picapedreros en Rumihurco: una aproximación etnoarqueológica

Abstract

This article records and describes lithic workshops that work in family contexts, in the sector of Rumihurco (province of Cañar, Ecuador). For this, an ethnoarchaeological perspective is taken, which will allow us to infer and understand certain activities of the human being in a specific context, emphasizing the processes of formation of contexts and areas of activity. Our objective was to identify common behaviors of artisans during the manufacturing process and understand the use of space in different work areas. In this manner, the current project serves as a basis for a better understanding of the archaeological record, considering that stone work has been a characteristic of human beings in history
