Abstract
The dichotomous construction of “mother tongue” from the discourse analysis, shows the different statements that describe it from connotations that derive from a semantic and social crisis. Androcentrism exerts a hegemonic, almost invisible, but highly influential power in the use of language as a communication resource and socialization tool. Therefore, from a documentary methodology and after a seminar gender in the city of Cuenca (Ecuador), it is reviewed here some theoretical approaches that address mother‐child relationships, the differences between the father and mother tongue, its emotions and frailties. Besides that, it is examined the grief or resignation, all as social catalysts to justify the loss of a language that, in addition to being a communicative channel, is an instrument of discrimination and oppression that obviates the maximum human expressions, necessary in the formation of citizenship for equality and social justice.
Resumen
La construcción dicotómica de “lengua materna” a partir del análisis del discurso, muestra los diferentes enunciados que la describen desde connotaciones que derivan de una crisis semántica y social, en la cual el androcentrismo ejerce un poder hegemónico, casi invisible, pero de gran incidencia en el uso del lenguaje como recurso de comunicación y herramienta de socialización. Por consiguiente, desde una metodología documental y posterior a unas jornadas de género en la ciudad de Cuenca, Ecuador, se repasan enfoques teóricos que, abordan las relaciones madre” hijos, las diferencias entre la lengua paterna y materna, las emociones y las fragilidades, así como el duelo o la resignación, todos como catalizadores sociales para justificar la perdida de una lengua que, a más de ser un canal comunicativo, es un instrumento de discriminación y opresión que obvia las máximas expresiones humanas, necesarias en la formación de una ciudadanía para la igualdad y justicia social.
