Abstract
This academic article reflects on two processes of scenic-choreographic research that, developed by the same team of creative artists, were confronted in two different historical-social contexts: pre-pandemic times and the current ones. In this analysis, it is discovered how the socio-political and cultural conditions that frame artistic research not only fundamentally affect the construction of knowledge, but also contain the possibility of altering the ontological assumptions of the performing arts, allowing such assumptions to be challenged not only because of the artist's desire and urgency to build renewed paths for creation, but because of situations that are primarily distant from the artistic will, such as the confinement and isolation generated in the context of Covid 19
Resumen
El presente artículo académicoreflexiona sobre dos procesos de investigación escénico-coreográfica que, desarrollados por el mismo equipo de artistas creadores, fueron enfrentados en dos contextos histórico-sociales distintos: los tiemposprepandemia y el actual. En este análisis se descubre cómo las condiciones sociopolítico-culturales, que enmarcan las investigaciones artísticas, no solo inciden fundamentalmente en laconstrucción del conocimiento, sino que encierran la posibilidad de alterar las asunciones ontológicas de las artes escénicas, permitiendo que tales asunciones se vean interpeladas no solo por el deseo y la urgencia del artista de construir caminos renovados para la creación, sino por situaciones primariamente distantes de la voluntad artística, como el encierro y el aislamiento generados en el contexto de la Covid 19.
