dc.descriptionEl presente proyecto técnico consiste en la evaluación hidráulica y sanitaria de las unidades de mezcla rápida, floculación, sedimentación y desinfección de la Planta de tratamiento de agua Potable tipo Convencional ubicada en la parroquia Capzha, cantón Gualaceo, provincia del Azuay. La evaluación se realizó mediante normas vigentes, códigos constructivos y el manual de evaluación de plantas de tipo convencional del Centro Panamericano de Ingeniería Sanitaria y Ciencias del Medio Ambiente (CEPIS). La evaluación de la PTAP se llevó acabo en tres etapas: en una primera etapa se realizó una evaluación visual de las distintas unidades operativas, la segunda etapa consistió en la evaluación sanitaria en la que se realizaron ensayos físicos, químicos y microbiológicos del agua cruda, sedimentada y tratada, los mismos que fueron realizados en el laboratorio de sanitaria de la Universidad de Cuenca y en el laboratorio de la PTAP durante 11 meses. Finalmente en una tercera etapa se realizó la evaluación hidráulica por medio de pruebas de trazadores. Los resultados de la evaluación, servirá como información para conocer la eficiencia con la que está trabajando el sistema, permitirá verificar si se están cumpliendo con los estándares de calidad y las posibles mejoras que se pueda hacer al sistema de tratamiento.es_ES
dc.description.abstractThe present technical project consists of the hydraulic and sanitary evaluation of the rapid mixing, flocculation, sedimentation and disinfection units of the conventional drinking water treatment plant located in the Capzha parish of Gualaceo canton, Azuay province. The evaluation was carried out through current standards, construction codes and the evaluation manual for conventional type plants of the Centro Panamericano de Ingeniería Sanitaria y Ciencias del Medio Ambiente (CEPIS). The evaluation of the PTAP was carried out in the three stages: in a first stage a visual evaluation of the different operating units was carried out, the second stage consisted of the sanitary evaluation in which physical, chemical and microbiological tests of the raw water were carried out, sediment and treated, the same ones that were carried out in the sanitary laboratory of the University of Cuenca and the PTAP laboratory for 11 months. Finally, in a third stage the hydraulic evaluation was carried out by means of plotter tests. The results of the evaluation, will serve as information to know the efficiency with which the system is working, will allow to verify if they are complying with the quality standards and the possible improvements that can be made to the treatment system.es_ES
