Abstract
In the framework of author’s doctoral research about the actualization and deepening of theory & politics of H. Lefebvre’s space, Vers une architecture de la jouissance (1973) is a fundamental part in the epistemological construction of the lefebvrian social space towards the production of human radical space. This little known manuscript of Lefebvre that illuminates the architecture allows us to approach to the architectural question such poetic practice which transfigures the quotidian, transforms the residues left behind by knowledge, without any other assumptions than the ability to grasp lived experience in itself in order to overcome it. If space speaks and does what it says. Lefebvre wonders, is the human being present in such a place who receives a message from that space appropriate to its meaning? On the contrary, wouldn’t it be space that receives the perpetually confused message of the human being in search of life and truth, and that reflects it back upon him, or restores it clarified and intensified? What does the term “beauty” if not such interaction, such effect? Based on an original revision of the text, from the considerations of Psychology & Psychoanalysis, as well as the architecture and the architectural effect establish the lefebvrian foundations to an architecture of enjoyment
Resumen
Dentro del proyecto doctoral del autor centrado en la profundización de la teoría y política del espacio de Henri Lefebvre, Vers une architecture de la jouissance (1973), es una pieza fundamental en la epistemología del espacio social lefebvriano hacia la producción del espacio radical humano. Esta pieza poco conocida de Lefebvre que ilumina la arquitectura, permite aproximarnos a la cuestión arquitectónica como práctica poética que transfigura lo cotidiano, transformando los residuos dejados por el conocimiento, sin más supuestos que la capacidad de captar la experiencia vivida en sí misma, con el fin de superarla. Si el espacio habla y hace lo que dice. Lefebvre se pregunta ¿es el ser humano, presente en un lugar, el que recibe un mensaje de aquel espacio acorde a su significado? Por el contrario, ¿no sería el espacio que recibe el mensaje perpetuamente confundido del ser humano en busca de la vida y la verdad, y que se refleja de nuevo sobre él, o lo restaura clarificado e intensificado? ¿Qué significa el término “belleza” si no es tal interacción, tal efecto? A partir de consideraciones de la psicología, el psicoanálisis, la arquitectura y el efecto arquitectónico, establecemos los fundamentos lefebvrianos para una arquitectura del goce.
