| dc.description | El estudio identificó las bacterias más frecuentes en casos de otitis interna, media y externa en 100 pacientes atendidos en la consulta externa del Hospital “Vicente Corral Moscoso” durante 2001-2002. El 95% de los pacientes con diagnóstico de otitis presentó cultivos positivos. Los microorganismos predominantes fueron: Streptococcus pneumoniae (23%), Haemophilus influenzae (20%), Moraxella catarrhalis (19%), Staphylococcus aureus (16%) y otros agentes (18%). La otitis aguda fue la forma más común, afectando principalmente a niños entre 1 y 4 años, con mayor incidencia en el sexo masculino. | |
