| dc.description | El interés sobre la conservación y la restauración de edificaciones alrededor del mundo se da por la necesidad que tienen las sociedades de conservar todos aquellos elementos que forman parte de su memoria cultural y su identidad. A pesar de que en el s. XVIII se dieron a conocer varias teorías en las que se puso en manifiesto el valor de la historia y los monumentos, se puede decir que el punto de inflexión que marcó el inicio de la reutilización arquitectónica se presenta en la década de los 60`s del siglo pasado, la misma que tenía como fin intervenir en edificaciones que formaban parte de la ciudad y que no tenían ningún tipo de valor patrimonial. Desde entonces hasta la actualidad la reutilización arquitectónica ha sido de gran alcance y aplicabilidad en el campo de la arquitectura, siendo además una buena estrategia de sostenibilidad. Por esta razón se establece la importancia del estudio que tiene como objetivo principal la regeneración urbano - arquitectónica de un sector de la ciudad, partiendo de la reutilización de un inmueble existente, el ex Centro de Rehabilitación Social de Varones de Cuenca, el cual ha cumplido su ciclo de vida para el que fue creado y que actualmente se encuentra en desuso. Para lograr dicho objetivo se plantea un esquema de trabajo en donde en primera instancia se realiza la recopilación de información sobre la reutilización adaptativa seguido de un análisis de ciudad y del inmueble para determinar las necesidades del sector de estudio. Con los resultado obtenidos del estudio, se plantea una propuesta de diseño urbano - arquitectónica a nivel de anteproyecto la misma que responde a las necesidades del sector y es coherente con la historia, el entorno y los beneficiarios del mismo. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | Interest in the preservation and restoration of buildings around the world stems from a societal necessity to immortalize those elements which make up its cultural memory and identity. In spite of the emergence of various theories in the eighteenth century which highlighted the value of history and its monuments, it can be claimed that the turning point which marked the beginning of architectural recycling occurred in the 1960s, where a new style was born, one which sought to intervene in buildings considered part of the city and lacking in any type of patrimonial value. Up until now, architectural recycling has been of great significance and applicability in the field of architecture, in addition to being a good sustainability strategy. Consequently, the importance of the present study is established with the primary objective the urban ~ architectural regeneration of a sector of the city, starting from the recycling of an existing structure, the former Social Rehabilitation Center for Men of Cuenca, which has completed its life cycle for which it was built and is currently in disuse. In order to achieve the proposed objective, a work schedule is laid out which first reviews the literature on adaptive recycling, followed by an analysis of the city and the building to determine the needs of the area of study. Given the results of the study, an urban ~ architectural design proposal is outlined at the draft level, which responds to the sector’s needs and is coherent with the history, the setting, and the benefits of this. | es_ES |
