| dc.description | Del Brutto no debe ser sorprendido por los resultados de nuestro ensayo clínico de tratamiento de la neurocisticercosis (NC). 1 Una serie de artículos fueron publicados en JAMA para "ayudar a los médicos traducen los resultados de la investigación médica en la práctica clínica." 2 En una de ellas , los autores afirman que "para sorpresa de muchos y la indignación de unos pocos", bien realizados los ensayos clínicos aleatorios han contradicho los resultados de los estudios menos rigurosos que apoyan las terapias consideradas previamente la práctica "estándar". 3 Para hacer frente a los comentarios relacionados con la secuencia de nuestros estudios, debemos proporcionar una breve reseña para el informe actual. | dc.description.abstract | Del Brutto should not be surprised by the results of our clinical trial of treatment of neurocysticercosis (NC).1 A series of articles were published in JAMA to "help physicians translate the results of medical research into clinical practice."2 In one of them, the authors state that "to the surprise of many and the indignation of a few," well-conducted randomized clinical trials have contradicted the results of less rigorous studies supporting therapies previously considered "standard" practice.3 To address comments related to the sequence of our studies, we must provide a brief background for the current report.
