| dc.description | Se realizó un estudio descriptivo en el primer semestre del 2010. El estudio abarcó a mujeres gestantes y neonatos atendidos en el Hospital del Sigsig en las áreas de maternidad y neonatología. Se llevó a cabo mediante recolección de datos a través del formulario #051 (CLAP) y test de evaluación del neonato, estándares e indicadores y protocolos establecidos por el Ministerio de Salud Pública. La información fue registrada, procesada y analizada mediante el Sistema Informático Perinatal y Excel. Resultados: En el primer semestre del año 2010 encontramos 134 partos de los cuales 102 son normales y 32 son cesáreas. Presentaron algún tipo de patología: 74 mujeres (36.4 %), y 51 neonatos (29.01 %). La mortalidad materna y neonatal es de 0 %. La patología materna predominante es el aborto incompleto (38.5%) % y neonatal es la hiperbilirrubinemia (51.9%). El porcentaje de cumplimiento de estándares de calidad supera el 85%. Conclusiones: No se encontró muertes maternas ni neonatales. | dc.description.abstract | Objective: Identify the major causes of morbidity and maternal and neonatal mortality and the quality of care at the Hospital San Sebastian Sigsig in the first half of 2010 " Method and materials: a descriptive study was conducted in the first half of 2010. The study included pregnant women and infants treated at the Hospital of Sigsig in the areas of maternity and neonatology.
