Abstract
The objective of this work is to serve as a reference text and / or support for a university academic cycle in the subject “Introduction to Fluid Mechanics” taught in the Career of Mathematics and Physics of the University of Cuenca, within the group of elective subjects, belonging to the branch of Physics. First the basic concepts of fluid and its properties are introduced, then study the static of the fluids, the basic equations that govern the dynamics of fluids, the applications of the Bernoulli equation and finally, the basic considerations in the experimentation of fluid mechanics
Resumen
El objetivo de esta obra es servir como texto de referencia y/o apoyo para un ciclo académico universitario en la asignatura “Introducción a la Mecánica de Fluidos” que se imparte en la Carrera de Matemáticas y Física de la Universidad de Cuenca, dentro del grupo de asignaturas optativas, pertenecientes a la rama de la Física. Primero se introducen los conceptos básicos de fluido y sus propiedades, para luego estudiar la estática de los fluidos, las ecuaciones básicas que rigen la dinámica de fluidos, las aplicaciones de la ecuación de Bernoulli y finalmente, las consideraciones básicas en la experimentación de la mecánica de fluidos.
