Revisión bibliográfica del empleo de remdesivir en el tratamiento de Covid-19

Abstract

This study was carried out as a bibliographic review of the use of remdesivir in the treatment of Covid-19, for which outstanding information was collected from the current literary heritage, which has been predicted from the time the pandemic began in the world, which estimates a short period to establish a specific analysis of the use of this treatment, considering that its evaluation incidence is from 2020 to 2021, a scenario that today maintains its medical and clinical evolution. The research methodology is qualitative, because the information obtained was qualified through inclusion and exclusion criteria in the defined review of 19 scientific articles and reference studies taken as elements of knowledge of the analysis, evaluation and evolution of the use of remdesivir in the treatment of coronavirus in critically ill patients. The results showed that its use is not recommended in patients compromised with severe renal failure and a high level of liver enzymes, therefore, it can only be recommended to patients with a moderate clinical state, while the scientific and medical development of the study continues. drug in Covid-19 patients worldwide.
