Desarrollo de una herramienta tecnológica lúdica para la iniciación musical en niños

Abstract

The present research develops a ludic technological tool for the musical initiation in children of the Seneca Educational Unit. A mixed (quantitative - qualitative) approach was used, with a deductive - inductive method, through the application of the survey, interview and auditory test, it was possible to determine that the students demonstrate a regular level of musical aptitude, all differentiate satisfactorily the intensity of the sounds, half of the students have problems to differentiate timbres from instruments, there is not an adequate methodology on the part of the teachers, that is to say, a defined and sustained system of instrumental use or of known didactic resources is not perceived. It is proposed, a design of a low-cost playful technological tool that uses the Makey-Makey electronic circuit as an interface to connect different unconventional surfaces (such as pencil drawings, shape- forming cartons, aluminum tape, wires, etc.) , that offers the possibility of producing sounds by pressing the triggers, as if it were a MIDI controller. At the end, the pertinent conclusions of the topic are developed.
