Abstract
The article exposes the family as a functional unit, which was compromised by the pandemic
caused by COVID-19, showing how Ecuadorian family groups in the sierra region have
overcome such a complex situation, highlighting the predominance of the level of functionality
moderately 2 acceptable, having a considerably positive margin of satisfaction at the
dysfunctional and severely dysfunctional level, which stand out for the small percentage that
it represents in the studied population, where the objective of recognizing functionality in the
post-pandemic family in students of the first baccalaureate is met evening section, of the
Cuidad de Cuenca high school, in the year 2022, using quantitative methodology, also carrying
out an exhaustive search of academic articles, books, 5 years old, application of the FF-SIL
and a survey focused on the context of the pandemic.
Resumen
El artículo expone a la familia como unidad funcional, la cual se vio comprometida por la
pandemia a raíz del COVID-19, mostrando como los grupos familiares ecuatorianos de la
región sierra han superado tan compleja situación, mostrando el predominio del nivel de
funcionalidad moderadamente aceptable, teniendo un margen de satisfacción
considerablemente positivo al nivel disfuncional y severamente disfuncional los cuales
resaltan por el pequeño porcentaje que representa en la población estudiada, donde se
cumple con objetivo de reconocer la funcionalidad en la familia post pandemia en estudiantes
de los primeros de bachillerato sección vespertina, del colegio de bachillerato Cuidad de
Cuenca, en el año 2022, utilizando metodología del tipo cuantitativa, realizando además una
búsqueda exhaustiva de artículos académicos, libros con 5 años de antigüedad, aplicación
del FF-SIL y una encuesta enfocada en el contexto de la pandemia.
