Plan de negocios para la diversificación de productos en la Empresa Industrial de Aluminio Indalum S. A.

Abstract

The projects are born under a preview evaluation established in a shareholder meeting to take advantage of the market opportunity and the installed capacity of the plant. For these reasons two projects are proposed. The first one is the kitchenware made in stainless steel to use existing machinery and matrices. All of them will decrease the cost of manufacturing and will improve the competitiveness of the market; likewise a line of stairs acquiring machinery and importing assembly parts. The plan will begin with the Study of the environment in which the products will be immersed, and then in the Market Study will analyze the most important variables of the marketing mix to determine the estimated demand and make income projections. Each fact and variation will be justified according to three possible scenarios (Pessimistic, Normal and Optimistic). In the Technical Study, through a complete investigation, budgets, processes and tools for production will be established through the use of Lean Manufacturing. In addition, the necessary capital to be invested will be defined according to the processes, machines and human capital involved in each area. Then, an Economic and Financial analysis will be carried out through the use of projected cash flows, justifying the feasibility of the proposed alternatives. Finally, conclusions and pertinent observations will be formulated, which will defend all the studies carried out in the project.
