Los regímenes de afiliación en la Seguridad Social Ecuatoriana

Abstract

The lack of knowledge of the law and its dissemination prevents Ecuadorians access to rights and benefits granted by the Ecuadorian Institute of Social Security through the so-called Affiliate Regimens. This is an issue of vital importance as through these Regimens,citizens become beneficiaries of a range of services designed to invigorate the good life that advocates and ensures our standard Normorum, Magna Carta,or also called the Constitution of the Republic, being the basic law which governs the life of our legal system force. In this sense, with the presentation of this paper which aims to provide a legislation compilation on the subject in question to the general public,and on the social and economic benefits offered by the IESS to policyholders and how to access them, we will start by referring to the history of Social Security, and then refer to the Social Security within Ecuador, together with each of its Affiliation Regimens and, obviously with the Employers Late Fee Liability incurred by the Employer or employers for breach of their obligations; encompassing therefore specific issues that are important to know and understand.
