Abstract

Our graduation project titled Production, Exhibition, and Theoretical Reflection of the Short Film Hatun Tayta Ñan includes a theoretical part and a practical part. Therefore, this document includes: the short film, the production folder with all its components such as logline, synopsis, concept art, characters, production proposal, director proposal, director of photography proposal, director of photography proposal, sound proposal, art direction proposal, permits and authorizations, timeline, budget, script breakdown in production, equipment list, art breakdown, crew, script, and finally, the reflective essays: "Indigenous Cinema and Ancestral Knowledge in the Short Film Hatun Tayta Ñan", by Amawta Jatari Lozano Chalán; "Ethnic and Visual Identity of Saraguro Culture in the Art Direction of the Short Film Hatun Tayta Ñan" , by Paula Nicole Patiño Ortega; and, "Relationship of the producer with the departments in the production of the short film Hatun Tayta Ñan”, by Juan Stalin Guayllas Tacuri.
