Abstract
Site Specific is a style or form of artistic construction that begins with plastic art, specifically with sculpture in seventies approximately, but nowadays it is practiced and therefore it can be appreciated in theatrical art, the essential and particular of this type of art is its relationship with spatiality or in other words, said with the scenic space, since, what is going to be told or what is shown, necessarily depends on one hundred percent of the space itself, that is, what has happened in that place or what can be done in that space, should be what directly influences the theatrical work, since what is presented in that space can only be carried out in that precise place and not in another, no matter how much similarity or similarity this other place possesses, in other words, there is not the slightest possibility that the artistic product can be transferred from one space to another. Being this is clear, the difference between this scenic device and conventional or non-conventional theater, since in these last two spaces does not necessary influence a hundred percent. Resumen
Site Specific es un estilo o forma de construcción artística que empieza con el arte plástico, específicamente con la escultura, aproximadamente en los años setenta. En la actualidad, se lo puede apreciar en el arte teatral, lo esencial y particular de este método es su relación con la espacialidad, con el espacio escénico, puesto que, lo que se vaya a contar o lo que se muestre, obligadamente, depende al ciento por ciento del espacio en sí, es decir, lo que haya pasado en ese lugar o lo que en ese espacio se pueda realizar, debe ser lo que influya directamente en la obra teatral, ya que, lo que se presente en dicho espacio solo se lo puede llevar a cabo en ese preciso lugar y no en otro, por más similitud o similitudes que este otro lugar posea. Por lo tanto, no hay la más mínima posibilidad de que pueda trasladarse de un espacio a otro el producto artístico. La diferencia entre este dispositivo escénico y el teatro convencional o el no-convencional, es que en estos dos últimos espacios la obra artística si puede ser trasladada de un lugar a otro y el espacio no necesariamente influye por completo en el hecho escénico
