| dc.description | La presente investigación tiene como objetivo analizar el impacto de las cubiertas en el confort térmico de proyectos de viviendas de la firma arquitectónica Natura Futura, ubicadas en varias ciudades de la provincia de los Ríos en la costa ecuatoriana. Las viviendas seleccionadas son destacadas por su diseño innovador y sostenible, adaptadas a las condiciones climáticas locales. El análisis arquitectónico se desarrollará mediante un enfoque metodológico cuantitativo con apoyo cualitativo en el análisis arquitectónico. Para el análisis de confort tendrá un enfoque metodológico explicativo-comparativo donde se estudiarán tres modelos de cubiertas representativas de la firma, evaluando su diseño, materialidad y sistema constructivo, con el fin de comprender cómo influyen en la temperatura interior, la ventilación natural y otros aspectos clave del confort térmico. Mediante el uso del software Desing Builder se podrá realizar simulaciones de clima cálido, húmedo y evaluar el rendimiento térmico de las cubiertas. Las simulaciones permitirán analizar cómo los distintos diseños de cubiertas impactan en la eficiencia energética, la circulación del aire y la capacidad de mantener condiciones térmicas confortables durante todo el año. Se dará el uso de fuentes primarias como entrevistas con miembros de Natura Futura, como secundarias para la obtención de planos, además de observaciones en situ que van a respaldar los datos obtenidos. Los resultados esperados incluyen una comprensión detallada del comportamiento térmico de las cubiertas, lo que dará a lugar a desarrollar un manual técnico para arquitectos en la implementación de soluciones constructivas en viviendas de climas cálidos y húmedos. | |
| dc.description.abstract | The objective of this research is to analyze the impact of roofs on the thermal comfort of housing projects of the architectural firm Natura Futura, located in several cities of the province of Los Ríos on the Ecuadorian coast. The selected houses stand out for their innovative and sustainable design, adapted to the local climatic conditions. The architectural analysis will be carried out with a quantitative methodological approach, with qualitative support in the architectural analysis. The comfort analysis will be carried out with an explanatory-comparative methodological approach where three representative roof models of the firm will be studied, evaluating their design, materiality and construction system, in order to understand how they influence the indoor temperature, natural ventilation and other key aspects of thermal comfort. Using the Desing Builder software, simulations of hot and humid climates will be carried out and the thermal performance of the roofs will be evaluated. The simulations will allow us to analyze how different roof design impact energy efficiency, air circulation and the ability to maintain comfortable thermal conditions throughout the year. Both primary sources, such as interviews with Natura Futura members, and secondary sources for obtaining drawings, as well as on-site observations will be used to support the data obtained. The expected results include a detailed understanding of the thermal behavior of the roofs, which will allow the development of a technical manual for architects in the implementation of construction solutions for dwellings in hot and humid climates. | |
