dc.descriptionAntecedentes: Las dimensiones de la cresta infracigomática deben ser analizadas previamente para la instalación de mini-implantes dentales, de esta manera evitar pérdida de los mismo en la aplicación de diferentes biomecánicas. Objetivo: el presente estudio tuvo como objetivo analizar las dimensiones de la cresta infracigomática grosor y altura de pacientes atendidos en el centro radiológico Scanner Cuenca, en el periodo noviembre 2021- junio 2023, Cuenca- Ecuador. Metodología: Implica el uso de CBCTs para clasificar a los pacientes según su patrón esquelético, sexo y edad. Posteriormente, se llevó a cabo mediciones en las imágenes de CBCTs, específicamente en la raíz mesiovestibular y disto vestibular del primer molar superior permanente, así como en la raíz mesiovestibular del segundo molar superior permanente. Resultados: Se determinó si existen diferencias significativas de las dimensiones de la cresta infracigomática entre los diferentes gruposen_US
dc.description.abstractBackground: The dimensions of the infrazygomatic ridge must be previously analyzed for the installation of mini-dental implants, in this way to avoid loss of them in the application of different biomechanics. Objective: The present study aimed to analyze the dimensions of the infrazygomatic ridge "thickness and height" of patients treated at the "Scanner Cuenca" radiological center, in the period November 2021-June 2023, Cuenca- Ecuador Methodology: Involves the use of CBCTs to classify patients according to their skeletal pattern, sex and age. Subsequently, measurements were carried out on the CBCT images, specifically in the mesiobuccal and distobuccal root of the first permanent upper molar, as well as in the mesiobuccal root of the second permanent upper molar. Results: It was determined if there are significant differences in the dimensions of the infrazygomatic ridge between the different groups.en_US
