| dc.description | Antecedentes: El homicidio intencional es un acto de violencia que trae consigo un impacto negativo para la sociedad. El manejo y análisis de datos es de interés para las autoridades gubernamentales debido que facilita el control de este hecho. Objetivos: determinar las características del homicidio intencional en víctimas de la zona 6 período 2017 - 2021. Métodos: se planteó un estudio observacional de tipo descriptivo y de corte transversal. Tomando como referencia la base de datos nacional, abierta y anónima de la Fiscalía General del Estado y del Instituto Nacional de Estadísticas y Censos en las que constan registros que permitieron caracterizar a las víctimas, así como la presunta motivación y el tipo de arma. Para el análisis de variables se utilizó programas, SPSS v24 de licencia educativa y Excel 2019, en la elaboración de tablas y gráficos. Resultados: el grupo poblacional con mayor prevalencia fueron hombres n=245 (78%), solteros n=217 (68,9%) de nacionalidad ecuatoriana n=295 (93,7%) que pertenecen al grupo etario adultos jóvenes n=95 (37,1%). En relación a la ejecución del delito, los tipos de arma más utilizada fueron arma de fuego n=32 (81,3%). La presunta motivación, según las características dominantes, son las riñas n=110 (34,9%). Conclusión: las características del homicidio intencional son similares a las descritas en otras regiones de Latinoamérica, particularmente sexo, grupo etario, tipo de arma, estado civil y presunta motivación. Los resultados de esta investigación contribuyen a reconocer a la población más vulnerable pudiéndose implementar estrategias de prevención que busquen concientizar a este grupo poblacional. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Background: Intentional homicide is an act of violence that has a negative impact on society. The management and analysis of data is of interest to government authorities because it facilitates the control of this fact. Objectives: determine the characteristics of intentional homicide in victims of planning zone 6 that include the provinces of Azuay, Cañar and Morona Santiago during the period 2017-2021. Methods: an observational study of a descriptive and cross-sectional type was proposed. The national, open and anonymous database of the State Attorney General's Office and the National Institute of Statistics and Censuses was taken as a reference, which contains records that allow the victims to be characterized, as well as the alleged motivation and the type of weapon used. In the execution of the criminal act. To analyze variables, calculation programs were used, SPSS v24 educational license and Excel 2019, to prepare tables and graphs. Results: the population group with the highest prevalence were men n=245 (78%), single n=217 (68.9%) of Ecuadorian nationality n=295 (93.7%) who belong to the young adult age group n=95 (37.1%).
