Abstract
This article focuses on our city, with its outstanding features, and
its textual realization of theoretical and urban fundamentals
that were used in the conquest and Spanish colonization;
it historic center, it tradition, it history, it landscape and
relationships with nature represent a facet of the collective
memory of humanity and mark a constant value. The dialogue
of the city with the mountain range that surrounds it and with
the four rivers that cross it are compelling facts for those who
live and those who visit it.
Resumen
Nuestra ciudad, con sus características excepcionales,
su materialización textual de los fundamentos teóricourbanísticos
que se emplearon en la conquista y
colonización española, su Centro Histórico, su tradición, su
historia, su paisaje y sus relaciones de integración con la
naturaleza representan una faceta de la memoria colectiva de
la humanidad y marcan unas constantes de valor. El diálogo de
la ciudad con el cordón montañoso que la circunda y con los
cuatro ríos que lo atraviesan son hechos contundentes para
quienes la habitamos y para quienes la visitan.
