Abstract
This research work took place in the resource "AguasTermales" located inGuapán,center of theparish with the same name. It includes the analysis of the touristic potential of the “AguasTermales” resource. At the same time it analyses the offer and demand, natural and cultural resources that has the parish. Estimating the necessities and wishes of the tourists who visit this resource. The results show that there are current and potential visitors. and visitors. The natural and cultural resources have the facilities to access, but it does not counts with the necessary services to satisfied the necessities of the visitors.
Resumen
Este trabajo investigativo se llevó a cabo en el recurso turístico Aguas Termales ubicado en el sector de Guapán, centro de la parroquia del mismo nombre. El mismo comprende el análisis del potencial turístico del recurso aguas termales. Así mismo analizando la oferta y demanda turística, los recursos naturales y culturales que tiene la parroquia. Estimando las necesidades y deseos de los turistas que visitan este recurso, los resultados muestran que tiene afluencia de visitantes actuales y potenciales. Los recursos tanto de índole natural y cultural cuentan con las facilidades de acceso pero no con los servicios necesarios para satisfacer las necesidades de los visitantes.
