Origen y evolución de las nuevas tecnologías (NTIC´S) y su implementación en la Escuela de Comunicación Social

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effects produced by the implementation of new technologies (ICT 's) in the School of Communication at the University of Cuenca, determine how was the process of incorporating ICT in the development and evolution of education university. The methodology used to obtain the data is the method of field research and through in-depth interviews as teachers, students and administrators who were involved in one way or another, since their contributions were able to conduct this study and get results, which allowed us to explain what were the causes and both positive and negative effects following the implementation of new technologies. An analysis of the different curricula that allowed us to establish the percentage of subjects with regard to new technologies from 1991 to 2009. It concludes with the selected information is made, the importance of training teachers to incorporate technology tools the teaching-learning process.
