Propuesta de actividades de senderismo y acampado para la zona de la Laguna de Culebrillas, cantón Cañar, provincia de Cañar

Abstract

Cañar is one of the seven cantons that make up the province with the same name, this canton has several tourist attractions, both natural and cultural, especially the emblematic site of the Ingapirca Archaeological Complex; in turn, in this canton is the Sangay National Park, South Zone, which is part of the National System of Protected Areas of Ecuador, where natural and archaeological resources are located, which can be developed for tourism, as is the case of the Laguna de Culebrillas area, considered a mythological place, where ceremonies are held in adoration of the sun and the moon. This study aims to propose hiking trails and camping areas in the Laguna de Culebrillas area, with the intention of expanding the tourist offer of the place. These adventure and nature tourism activities have been selected, considering that the site presents the appropriate characteristics to implement these actions, which seek to raise awareness in visitors for conservation and protection of the area.
