Abstract
The project exposed in the following pages explores in a straightforward manner the anamorphic technique within the artistic production and how it underlines the visual experience that the human figure and its deformities casts. It means and it contemplates the idea of an encounter with an alternative reality that represents a dual world, where beauty is not strictly accepted by the social convention, but is an identity construction of an apparent minority. The artwork production itself is a portrait of the actual society and its low deference towards people with unusual features in its physical appearance that relegates them from the
community they belong to, besides a social and psychological evaluation of multiple inherent factors to the context where the individuals inhabit.
Resumen
El proyecto que se expone a continuación, explora de forma directa la técnica de la anamorfosis dentro de la producción artística y cómo se subyace a la experiencia visual que genera la figura humana y sus deformidades; es decir, contempla la idea de un encuentro con una realidad alterna que represente un mundo dual donde lo bello no es lo estrictamente aceptado por la convención social, sino más bien, una construcción de identidad de un grupo aparentemente minoritario. La obra como tal, es un reflejo de la sociedad actual y su poca condescendencia para con las personas que tienen características inusuales en su aspecto físico que los relega de la comunidad a la que pertenecen, además de una exploración de múltiples factores inherentes al contexto donde estos individuos transitan.
