Un modelo para determinar la capacidad de la adaptación visual del paisaje urbano a un entorno en proceso de densificación

Abstract

This thesis proposes to create a model from a matrix, which has been constructed using quantitative indicators, which analyze the visual landscape situation of the “Avenida Ordoñez Laso”, located in the city of Cuenca, Ecuador. The analysis will extend 2.43km along the avenue, from the roundabout of Av. De Las Americas to the bridge of the “Monseñor Leónidas Proaño” road. The thesis will be developed in three major chapters, the first one is the definition of the nexus between the city and its environment, which defines the area of study and the axes of assessment. The second one is in charge of the determination of the parameters that intervene in the image through the method of the network, rope and point that work with the technique of Isovists. And the third is the design of the system of evaluation and spatial response for the buildings of the sector and its scenic funds, which will finally show three densification models: high, medium and low.
