Anteproyecto de un equipamiento cultural y comercial para el GAD de Ricaurte

Abstract

The parish of Ricaurte is located in the northwest of the province of Azuay and has an area of 14 km2. It is considered an agricultural sector because it is located in a rural area; however, with the passage of time this has ceased to be the case, because of the total population of the parish (1797 inhabitants) only 9%, approximately, is dedicated to primary activities, while the rest of the inhabitants are focused on the secondary sector (manufacturing industry and construction activity) and the tertiary sector (commerce and services). Due to this situation and the need expressed by the Decentralized Autonomous Government of the parish of Ricaurte, we have proposed the design of the preliminary project of a cultural and commercial center whose main purpose is to meet the needs and requirements of the different sectors. It should be noted that the design takes into account various aspects such as the history of the parish, the urban environment, materiality, comfort, among others.
