Estilos de aprendizaje en estudiantes de tercero de bachillerato de una institución educativa de la ciudad de Cuenca durante el periodo 2020 - 2021

Abstract

Learning styles represent a person's highly individualized preferences and tendencies that influence their learning. Therefore, the objective of this research is to describe the different learning styles of third-year high school students from an Educational Institution in Cuenca, while considering the variables of sex, age and specialty. In this way, learning styles were addressed as elements of great importance that favor the teaching-learning processes. The methodology of this study corresponds to a crosssectional descriptive research, with a quantitative approach and a non-experimental design. For its effect, a sociodemographic record and the CHAEA Questionnaire of Honey-Alonso of Learning Styles were applied, through the Google Forms platform. The investigation involved a sample of 153 students, more specifically 66 men and 87 women belonging to the Unified General Secondary School and Technical Secondary School (Foreign Trade and Accounting) of an Educational Institution in the city of Cuenca. Among the results found, it was possible to determine that the majority of students tend to the active learning style (88.2%) and the least frequent was the pragmatic style (84.3%).
