| dc.description | La antología sobre el cuento fantástico ecuatoriano aborda diferentes tópicos sobre este tipo de narración: origen, evolución, concepto, clasificación y características. Se hace hincapié en su temática siguiendo a Todorov y Barrenechea. Estos dos autores disienten en algunos conceptos, pero coinciden en otros. Todorov basa la temática de lo fantástico en temas del Yo y temas del Tú. En el primer caso referidos a las relaciones del hombre con el mundo, y en el segundo referidos al mundo de los placeres físicos del hombre, con profundas connotaciones sexuales; mientras Barrenechea ubica su temática en la existencia de Dioses, en los poderes benéficos o maléficos, e incluso sugiere la existencia de mundos paralelos al nuestro. Los representantes considerados en esta antología son escritores de la talla de Jorge Dávila, Abdón Ubidia, Carlos Béjar, Raúl Vallejo, Édgar Allan García, Oswaldo Encalada, Iván Petroff Rojas y Santiago Páez, de cuya bibliografía se han seleccionados los cuentos que conforman el corpus de la presente antología. Se sugiere un método de análisis, para que los cuentos de esta antología sirvan como material de primera mano para que los estudiantes recuperen y practiquen sus hábitos lecto-escriturales, en busca de perfeccionarlos. | dc.description.abstract | The fairy tale anthology on different topics Ecuadorian addresses this type of story: origin, evolution, concept, classification and characteristics. It emphasizes its subject following Todorov and Barrenechea. These two authors disagree in some respects, but agree on others. Todorov based the theme of the fantastic in items I and Thou topics. In the first case referred to the relationship between man and the world, and the second relating to the world of physical pleasures of man with deep sexual connotations, while Barrenechea places its subject in the existence of Gods, beneficent or maleficent powers, and even suggests the existence of parallel worlds to our own. The representatives considered in this anthology are writers like Jorge Davila, Abdon Ubidia, Carlos Bejar, Raul Vallejo, Edgar Allan Garcia, Oswaldo Encalada, Ivan Petroff Rojas and Santiago Paez, whose literature has selected the stories that make up the corpus of this anthology. We suggest a method of analysis, so that the stories in this anthology serve as primary source material for students to recover and practice their reading habits-scriptural, looking to perfect.
