| dc.description | La donación de órganos y tejidos se define como un acto altruista y humanitario que permite prolongar y mejorar la calidad de vida de los pacientes con enfermedades de insuficiencia orgánica, pudiendo ser desde un donante vivo o cadavérico; que, marcado por diversos factores socioculturales, económicos e informativos, limitan una donación libre y voluntaria. Así mismo, se destaca que la población a nivel mundial representa una tasa de 150.000 donaciones sólidas en la última estadística del 2022, normativas e infraestructuras son esenciales en la concesión transplantológica. Todo ello se relaciona totalmente con el rol de enfermería, ya que este es un soporte de ayuda para sobrellevar la enfermedad, implica cuidados específicos y atención holística para el bienestar personal del paciente y su familia. El objetivo de este estudio fue explorar las percepciones y actitudes sobre la donación de órganos y tejidos en los Internos de la Carrera de Enfermería de la Universidad de Cuenca 2025-2026. La investigación adoptó un enfoque cualitativo de tipo fenomenológico, con una muestra de once Internos de la Carrera de Enfermería, la recolección de datos fue mediante entrevistas semiestructuradas y los datos fueron analizados mediante la aplicación ATLAS.ti. Según los resultados obtenidos se determinó que los Internos de Enfermería, perciben diversas nociones generales del tema, que independientemente de ideologías culturales, religiosas, económicas, existen otros determinantes primordiales como el altruismo, la ética, valores y principios morales, relacionados directamente con la percepción y actitud positiva general respecto al tema de la donación de órganos y tejidos. | |
| dc.description.abstract | Organ and tissue donation is defined as an altruistic and humanitarian act that allows prolonging and improving the quality of life of patients with organ failure diseases, which can be from a living or cadaveric donor; which, marked by various social-cultural, economic and informational factors, limit a free and voluntary donation. Likewise, it is highlighted that the world population represents a rate of 150,000 solid donations in the latest statistics of 2022, regulations and infrastructures are essential in the transplant concession. All this is totally related to the role of nursing, since this is a support to help cope with the disease, it involves specific care and holistic care for the personal well-being of the patient and their family. The objective of this study was to explore the perceptions and attitudes about organ and tissue donation in the Interns of the Nursing Career of the University of Cuenca 2025-2026. The research adopted a qualitative phenomenological approach, with a sample of eleven Interns of the Nursing Career, data collection was through semi-structured interviews and the data were analyzed through the ATLAS.ti application. According to the results obtained, it was determined that Nursing Interns perceive various general notions of the subject, that regardless of cultural, religious, and economic ideologies, there are other primordial determinants such as altruism, ethics, values, and moral principles, directly related to the perception and general positive attitude regarding the issue of organ and tissue donation. | |
