Diseño de un producto editorial infantil con realidad aumentada

Abstract

This paper shows the research and process to carry out an editorial project through interdisciplinary work in the area of design. Through association of illustration, literature and music with the aim of creating an illustrated children’s story with an increased reality for children between five and seven years in the company of their parents or guardians. The methodology that was used was about service design where in the first instance, an investigation was carried out on the subject and its context was analyzed; in a second moment, the work of each stage of the design was presented which was socialized with experts in the area to have a comprehensive project with unity of criteria. Which results in a product that maintains balance in all its aspects. Finally, a prototype of the story was built with materials, real size and the full functionality of augmented reality that is supported by a mobile application; opinions of professionals and a target audience were received to know the benefits of the project.
