Prevalencia de embarazo y factores de riesgo asociados en las adolescentes del Hospital Obstetrico “Angela Loayza de Ollague” Santa Rosa- El Oro 2012

Abstract

The intention of the present was to determine the prevalence of pregnancy and associated factors of risk in the adolescents of the Obstetrical Hospital “Angela Loayza de Ollague”, of the corner Santa Rosa, province of Gold during year 2012. The principal objective of this investigation was to obtain the prevalence of the Pregnancy in Adolescents in this hospital of the country, besides to find the main associated factors of risk, since at the moment studies of any class do not exist related to this subject in the mentioned hospital and due to the increasing percentage of adolescents pregnancy in our country. The method and materials It is a quantitative, descriptive study of prevalence; the universe constituted 1,687 women who in center went for the Hospital Obstetrician “Angela Loayza de Ollague”, of the corner Santa Rosa, and the sample constituted 460 adolescent mothers. Elaborated data collection forms were used in this study to raise the information of all the pregnant adolescents, included/understood between the ages of 10 and 19 years of age fulfilled, that went to this house of health in the year 2012. Results: the prevalence of the pregnancy in adolescents in this hospital and this period of time was of 27,2%; the age average of the pregnant adolescents was 17,1 years, the percentage of planned pregnancies did not correspond to the 95,1%. The factor of the use of contraception I do not present/display statistical significance.
