| dc.description | La literatura latinoamericana actual, sobre todo la escritura de mujeres busca un retorno al género gótico, como una forma nueva de contar la situación de la mujer en una sociedad globalizada y estereotipada, donde prevalece el poder masculino. En Ecuador, Mónica Ojeda forma parte de las escritoras que utilizan este género para denunciar las “monstruosidades” de las sociedades patriarcales. En consecuencia, el objetivo de este trabajo es analizar de qué manera la sexualidad y el cuerpo femenino se constituyen en dispositivos de control en Las Voladoras de Mónica Ojeda (2020). Con ese fin, nuestra propuesta gira alrededor de los postulados teóricos de Foucault (2007), Butler (2007) y Rubino, Saxe y Sánchez (2021). | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Current Latin American literature, especially women's writing, seeks a return to the gothic genre, as a new way of telling the story of women's situation in a globalized and stereotyped society, where male power prevails. In Ecuador, Mónica Ojeda is one of the writers who use this genre to denounce the "monstrosities" of patriarchal societies. Consequently, the aim of this paper is to analyze how sexuality and the female body are constituted as control devices in Mónica Ojeda 's Las Voladoras (2020). To this end, our proposal revolves around the theoretical postulates of Foucault (2007), Butler (2007) and Rubino, Saxe and Sanchez (2021). | en_US |
