Evaluación patológica de estructuras de hormigón mediante métodos no destructivos y semi-destructivos: aplicaciones en el Ecuador

Abstract

After reading and exhaustively studying the "PRACTICAL MANUAL OF PATHOLOGICAL EVALUATION AND CONTROL OF THE CONDITION IN CONCRETE STRUCTURES THROUGH NONDESTRUCTIVE AND SEMI-DESTRUCTIVE TESTS", made by Ortega M. and Vanegas J. in the year of 2021, it was seen the need to complement these theoretical foundations, with the development of the practical and didactic part of it, focused on the proper exercise of Forensic Engineering. For this reason, three pathological evaluations are carried out in Ecuador which are also exemplified, whose content was adapted to the format of the Manual, in order to know its applicability in diffrerent civil works. Therefore, the practical application of the Manual is carried out, through the development of a pathological evaluation in a deteriorated civil work in the city of Cuenca, following the guidelines presented in it. From the pathological evaluations, two reports are presented: First, the preliminary, corresponding to the visual inspection, identification of pathologies, and determination of the required tests through the solution trees.
