Desde las primeras décadas del siglo XX, tres generaciones de esta familia desarrollaron este oficio, llegando a convertir el discreto taller en la primera y única fábrica de pianos en este país. El proceso de construcción de la parte estructural y mecánica de un piano Verdugo, es descrito en detalle por sus creadores, quienes revelan las particularidades del piano ecuatoriano, debidas a los materiales utilizados y el manejo de los mismos.es_ES
dc.description.abstractThe pianos trade mark Verdugo takes the name of a family of musical instruments builders in Ecuador. Since the first decades of the twentieth century, three generations of this family developed this craft, converting the discrete workshop in the first and only piano factory in this country. The building process of the structural and mechanical parts of a Verdugo piano is described in detail by their creators, who reveal the particularities of Ecuadorian piano, due to the materials used and the treatment thereof.es_ES
